My name is Xavi Morera and I am an IT technologies professional with 15+ years of experience on Unix, Linux and database systems. I’m interested in learning how complex systems work and how its different components interact. That helps me to build and fix data systems with a systematic approach instead of using trial and error. I am lately transitioning to a DBA + DevOps role, specializing on Cloud data systems architecture and design, and the definition of strategies to migrate database systems from on-premises to the Cloud.
