Global Procurement Manager for HUB Building and Home Automation Solutions. Head of Procurement for 9 production sites: Busch -Jaeger Elektro (Germany), Niessen (Spain), (Czech Republic), ABB BV (Netherlands), ABB Oy (Finland) and the locations for Emergency Lighting Solutions (Hungary, Canada, England and France). Responsibilities: 1. Strategy: to contribute to definition, implementation, and execution of spend management and sourcing strategies for direct material and services. 2. Performance targets: to determine annual targets and scorecards, for cost reduction, supplier quality, supplier delivery performance. To ensure long-term planning as well as monthly monitoring of results and encourage continuous improvement. 3. Improvement plans: to develop and implement cost, productivity, quality, delivery and inventory improvement plans. 4. Sourcing strategy: to ensure optimized sourcing processes and the selection of competitive suppliers. Acts as sponsor of global Category Team Leadership network. Participates in negotiation with wider suppliers. 5. Excellence: to ensure the execution of supplier audits and monitor audit reports as well as improvement activities based on audit conclusions and recommendations. To implement ABB standards, guidelines, instructions and tools to improve Procurement activities the assessment and selection of most competitive suppliers. 6. Compliance, sustainability and risk management: to implements ABB standards on sustainability and business ethics as well as the Supplier Code of Conduct. 7.
