Hello! My name is Wybren van den Akker, I'm a software engineer specializing in Embedded Development and Game Development living in the Netherlands.
I held this position during my graduation internship, where I created a Rust embedded development environment for the PYglet development board by AEMICS. This environment consisted of a design flow (compilation, flashing, etc), a hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and documentation. The hardware abstraction layer was developed in Rust using Rust's embedded-hal API v1.0.0, and supported the STM32G473 specifically.
Working on an assignment involving the emulation of product hardware for usage in (integration) testing of firmware.
Interning as a teacher at the course "Creative Developer" at Deltion College for my Minor in education.
