Accountable for all aspects of the enterprise information security program including strategy, governance, and operations.
Accountable for all aspects of engineering strategy, governance, and operations for the Enterprise Services sector. Specific duties include the development and retention of our ~1,660 engineers (software, systems, security, hardware, network, and test), the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and processes across our engineering lifecycle, the instantiation of model-based engineering techniques and tools, global technology management and innovation, enterprise standards and approved products, long-range strategic planning, sector research and development, enterprise architecture and roadmaps, strategic supplier relationships, and our Engineering Program Excellence initiative. I serve on the Corporate Engineering Council representing the Enterprise Services Sector.
Accountable for all aspects of information technology strategy, governance, and operations for the Corporate Office and Enterprise Services sector. I serve on the IT Solutions Policy Council, the Corporate Security Council, the Sector Diversity and Inclusion Council, and I chaired the Sector International Governance Team. Significant accomplishments included the design and standup of the NGC global integrated services computing environment; transition and migration of a global Human Resources system for our international businesses; managing all IT and security activities for corporate merger and acquisitions; transformation of our enterprise engineering processes and tools; design and implementation of an enterprise, large-scale automated workflow process for onboarding employees into all of our major IT and business systems; standardization and process automation of our global supply chain operations; development and instantiation of our next-generation talent management and acquisition capabilities; and data analytics for our independent research and development portfolio.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining all aspects of the information security program at Northrop Grumman including the strategy, governance, operations, and finances. J.R. also supports the company's efforts in advancing the embedded cybersecruity capabilities of its products and services to our external customers. J.R. serves on the IT Solutions Policy Council and the Corporate Security Council. J.R. is a Northrop Grumman Technical Fellow and represents NGC as a member of the Executive Security Action Forum, the Websense Customer Advisory Board, the Research Board, and the Internet Security Alliance Board of Directors.
