About

I’ve been in IT for over 20 years, and in that time I’ve seen just about everything—from dial-up modems to cloud-native platforms. What’s stayed the same? My passion for solving problems, making tech work smarter, and helping teams thrive. Right now, at Neat, a growing tech startup, I’m building out and maturing the IT function from the ground up. I love the challenge of taking something chaotic and turning it into something scalable and efficient—without losing the agility that makes startups exciting. I bring a mix of hands-on technical knowledge, big-picture thinking, and a knack for getting people on the same page. Whether I’m mapping out strategy or diving into the details, I’m all about creating IT environments that actually work for the people using them.

In my role as Senior Manager – Global IT, I focus on building a secure, scalable, and reliable IT environment across both cloud and on-premise platforms, supporting day-to-day operations as well as long-term growth. It’s a space I enjoy working in, particularly as it continues to evolve and present new challenges to solve. The work spans infrastructure, security, and workplace technology. This includes strengthening endpoint security and standardising device management, alongside improving onboarding to create a more consistent and efficient experience for teams globally. A key milestone has been achieving ISO 27001 certification, helping align processes and controls while embedding a more structured approach to security and compliance. Ongoing efforts around monitoring, vulnerability management, and general security practices continue to support that foundation. Alongside this, I’ve been supporting the adoption of AI capabilities across both R&D and the wider workforce, focusing on practical use cases that improve productivity while ensuring they are introduced in a secure and manageable way. From an infrastructure perspective, the environment has evolved to support increased scale, including the expansion of R&D capabilities and broader global growth. The focus has been on building systems that are resilient, maintainable, and able to adapt as requirements change. I’ve also been closely involved in managing and integrating collaboration platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, particularly in the context of Neat’s native device experience, ensuring a consistent and reliable meeting experience across different ecosystems. My approach is fairly straightforward: understand the problem, keep solutions practical, and make sure what we build is maintainable and useful for the people relying on it. It’s an area where I’m constantly learning, and that ongoing development is a big part of what keeps the work engaging.

At Neat, I own the full IT stack: endpoint management, security, network infrastructure, identity, and the tooling that keeps a globally distributed team moving. We build video collaboration hardware that runs Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet natively — and behind the scenes, I’m making sure the people who build it have everything they need to do their best work. Lately, that’s meant leading our AI tooling rollout, thinking seriously about agentic workflows, and figuring out how IT can be a strategic contributor — not just a cost centre. I care about doing things properly: clean infrastructure, thoughtful automation, and security that doesn’t get in the way of the people it’s protecting.
