Held a pivotal leadership role post-acquisition, first managing critical carve-out and operational transition work, then shaping Westlake’s sustainability and strategic agenda across Europe and Asia. Played a central role in aligning regional regulatory, ESG, and digital transformation with long-term growth ambitions and the global corporate ESG strategy. Key Highlights: • Led the transfer of IT, Customer Service, and Procure-to-Pay functions from Hexion Epoxy into Westlake, co-ordinated legal entity and banking transitions. • Built and led the regional sustainability function across five BUs; defined 2030 goals including Scope 1 & 2 reduction strategy, Scope 3 and Circularity initiatives, Environmental and Social targets. • PMO lead for Westlake's CSRD/CSDDD/EU Taxonomy ESG compliance project and PMO member of SAP S/4HANA implementation in Europe • Led Westlake Epoxy’s completion of EU Antidumping Case AD711 and evaluated M&A opportunities in circular and bio-based materials.
Held senior commercial roles during a period of corporate restructuring, market volatility, and business repositioning. Led high-impact regional and global initiatives that strengthened market position, accelerated growth in Asia, and prepared the business for successful divestment. Key Highlights: • Led EMEAI Epoxy Specialties P&L, expanding into Automotive and Electrical Castings; secured Tier 1 supplier status with BMW. • Drove explosive growth in Asia, scaling the China Coatings business to surpass all other regions through cross-functional R&D, tech, and manufacturing alignment. • Maintained business continuity during global IT outage and Chapter 11 ownership transition, and led COVID-19 response for Hexion’s European HQ at Rotterdam. • Played a key role in pre-sale planning for the Epoxy business, aligning portfolio strategy and customer positioning with divestment goals.
