I am a curious person who learns best through hands-on activities like lab workπ¬. Currently in the midst of getting my Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, I involved myself more in student life activities to meet like-minded individuals that aims to give back to the student body. Exercising helps clear and organise my thoughts, which is crucial in giving my 100% in all my work.
- Managed 4 Directors and made sure the submitted proposal for each event is up to standard and well planned. - Planned and conducted 2 cohesion within the Welfare Department to strengthen trust and build an enjoyable working environment. - Provided, facilitated, and maintained 2-way communication on work, and feedback flows smoothly between Main Committee members. - Ensured the Director's physical and mental well-being through monthly check-ins either verbally or digitally.
Military Police (MP) Signaller / Military Police Operation Centre (MPOC) Ops Controller
Tasked with daily maintenance of 12 anaerobic digesters, testing of sludge, and mixed feed samples. Setting up of 6 more new anaerobic digesters (A total of 18 ADs). Guiding new interns and teaching them about our project and tasks. Learn and apply Amplicon Sequencing using AmpVis2 package using R Studio for generating HeatMaps, Alpha Diversity, and Beta Diverstiy.
Research Project: Anaerobic Digestion of Sewage Sludge Daily maintenance of 9 lab-scale anaerobic digesters. Conduct experiments such as Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Ion Chromatography, Gas chromatography, and Solid Analysis. Record down all data into Microsoft Excel and constructed basic data analysis.
I have served customers to provide a positive customer experience. Talking to customers frequently has built my confidence in communicating well with my co-workers. This allows events to operate smoothly by fulfilling my duty given by my superiors.
I helped get customers seated, explained the menu and chef's recommendation, assisted and answered customers' inquiries using English or Mandarin. Prepare boxes of utensils and serviettes. Clear the plates and wipe the tables. Ensure good hygiene by frequently changing and washing the table towels.
