Kar Ling is a lawyer. She is a thinker and a problem solver. She helps companies and individuals to resolve their daily life issues by providing them with viable solutions. She had a demonstrated history of working in several leading firms during her formative years. Later, she had been admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of High Court of Malaya in September 2020. Subsequent to the admission to the High Court of Malaya, she then decided to take a leap of faith to embark on her journey with firms that cover a wide range of services. During her free time, she would then explore public policies, business and emerging areas of practices including ESG, LawTech, FinTech, RegTech and ICT and advocate for good causes. She applies the legal analysis skills she learnt in law school to advocate and to provide policy commentaries for newspapers, radio stations, think tanks, non-profits organisations and non-profit consulting groups. She loves to read and enjoys penning down her thoughts. Writing help her to put life events into perspective. Kar Ling has been exposed to numerous corporate and corporate dispute matters which she has advised and represented numerous corporations and organisations including public listed companies in Malaysia. Kar Ling has also been exposed to several types of dispute resolution matters including defamation, employment dispute, copyright infringement, strata dispute, family law dispute and several criminal defense matters including POCA and drug trafficking matters.
