About

I discovered my passion in Biology after participating in a hands-on heart dissection lab experiment during Secondary 4 holidays, where it sparked a lasting curiosity in me about how living organisms function. Along the way, I discovered my strengths in Mathematics, English and Chemistry, doing well in A Levels and learning to balance analytical thinking with clear communication. That blend shaped my meticulous approach to learning and working with people. Growing up with bilateral hearing impairment brought its own challenges. Being medically exempted from National Service, I chose to continue my education and commit fully to building myself through learning instead of taking a gap year to gain work experiences. Today, I’m pursuing Biological Sciences at NTU with a Second Major in Medicinal Chemistry & Pharmacology. I’m particularly interested in the pharmaceutical and research sector, with aspirations to contribute as a clinical back-end researcher — from drug synthesis to cancer therapeutics and pharmacogenomics. I’m intentionally prioritising strong foundations in Year 1, while growing toward collaborative leadership and mentoring. I believe purposeful work comes from curiosity and connections, and I strive to learn with rigor, support others with empathy, and keep working on myself through lifelong learning.
