I'm a Graduate from the Singapore Management University (SMU), Bachelor of Accountancy, Second Major in Accounting Data and Analytics. I am passionate in serving and giving back to society. My professional in journey includes serving Singapore and Singaporeans with my role as a Manager in Service Branch, Individual Income Tax Division with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and external audit experience being an intern and subsequently as an associate with Deloitte Singapore. Having experiences in taxation theory, day-to-day accounting functions, external audit and technical accounting knowledge from my degree studies in SMU, I am able to pick up and learn the accounting processes put in place easily with the fundamentals of accounting controls. As an student in SMU and also through my Diploma studies in Singapore Polytechnic (SP). I have been exposed to various IT tools and code including Excel VBA, Python, Tableau and R programming. I have a basic proficiency understanding the usage of these tools and have a keen interest to develop my interest in this area. I also serve as a Grassroots Leader in my community at Punggol Shore, bringing people young and old together through engaging community events. When I was in SMU, I been active in participating in school activities and giving back to society through regular voluntary work. Through this, I am able to multitask well my present commitments while performing academically in school.
