Covered public housing - from policy changes to HDB resale prices and shop rentals - and the impact on homeowners and businesses. Also tracked the construction sector and migrant worker welfare. Broke stories on the relocation of public rental housing residents, chokes in the automated waste systems of several HDB estates, the closure of large migrant worker dormitories, and the struggles of high-tech factories once touted as the future of construction.
Worked with migrants across various welfare and immigration matters. Conducted a scoping exercise on the migrant advocacy sphere and made recommendations on possible campaign domains and strategies. Developed methods to produce more meaningful data and insights for advocacy work and journalists.
