As a quantity surveyor and team leader of a small group of quantity surveyor, I have not only focused on the major tasks on quantity surveying, but also deliver guidelines for my team members both in their different professional developments and also lives. In addition, I spent part of my leisure time for studying to have more knowledge in different aspects such as law especial alternative dispute resolution. Meanwhile, I try my best to have better understanding on other people's feelings and problems, i.e. empathy, which would enhance and facilitate to settle a issue among different stakeholders in a better way in order to reduce a hard time. However, it may not be ease since the work and scope of quantity surveying is related to law and contract, they are expressed in different documents, word by word, sentence by sentence, paragraph by paragraph, other than the express meaning, which would have another meaning when across different documents, which might have been stated in the same Contract. In addition, different groups of peoples in meeting have different concerns. Thus, it would not be ease to have common objective.
