Wolfgang Rieder is the CEO of Rieder Group, a leading manufacturer of innovative and sustainable facade panels for design and architecture. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, he has transformed his family business into a global player that operates in Austria, Canada, and the Pacific Northwest. Rieder is passionate about empowering indigenous people in BC and reducing the environmental impact of the construction sector. He is developing the world's first cement-free concrete facade panels, eliminating the largest CO2 driver in the core business. He is also en route to planting over 500,000 trees to neutralize Rieder's CO2 emissions by 2028. He is a Loeb Fellow 2020 at Harvard Graduate School of Design and an advisory board member of the Master of Design Engineering program. He holds a Master of Economics from the University of Vienna.
