Over the years I have worked through Small Business to Enterprise level environments supporting their Information Technology platforms in a variety of ways.
Provide technical leadership to members on the team in the areas of network security. This includes taking ownership and rapidly ramping up to become a SME on new technology and providing training and mentorship to others on the team to accelerate their knowledge of the platforms. Provide escalation points on the platforms we manage to others on the team. Using secure AI platforms to help develop and enhance our security platforms and speed to resolution during operational management.
• Provide expertise in the Office 365 deployment for Ameren in their ongoing deployment of capabilities within the platform. • Provide technical leadership to a small team that supports day to day operations and user support activity for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Skype, Rightfax, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, and more related to Microsoft collaboration technologies. • Assist architectural teams in the technical aspects of new deployments to include review of network and technology diagrams, implementation plans and goals, and transition of project designs into implementation. • Drive relationships between teams in the organization to increase productivity and deployment speed of the M365 platforms. This included rebuilding relationships with teams that have historically had a bad experience with the needs of the Collaboration team to ensure that we had a healthy working relationship and could successfully rely on each other to achieve mutual goals.
• Provide project leadership and subject matter expert guidance on the integration and migration of existing Centene collaboration platforms to Office 365. This included the Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other platforms. • Work with multiple teams throughout Centene and acquired companies to develop business relationships and collaborate on requirements to ensure successful completion of project goals and timelines. • Execution of multiple workstreams to ensure multiple projects are able to hit their goals in a consistent manner while meeting the goals set by leadership. Occasionally providing feedback and reasoning on why goals or timelines were not achievable and providing alternative and workable solutions. • Lead the Office 365 integration efforts for acquisitions after handoff from the M&A team to include identification of unique environmental requirements and migration architecture and coordination between Centene Corporate and acquired companies’ teams. • Provide Office 365 team leadership in the integration of security platforms and coordination with internal security teams to ensure a roadmap for proper protection of Personally Identifiable Information, Protected Health Information, and Company Confidential information. • Provide mentor and peer leadership to our team of engineers to work towards a cohesive team atmosphere where everyone feels valued and that they are performing as an important cog in the machine.
• Lead project team to design and deploy Enterprise level integrations of on premises Active Directory, and messaging systems (Exchange/Notes) to Office 365 • Consult and help develop security requirements to meet NIST, HIPPA, and other internal security needs surrounding information security and protection. • Lead project meetings and engagements with numerous teams in the enterprise for project collaboration including security, networking, infrastructure, messaging, mobile device, client endpoint, and identity.
• Run Microsoft Deployment Planning Service Engagements to discover current capabilities of client network and outline requirements for deployment/migration of/to an Office 365 solution • Design and deploy Office 365 migrations with a focus on data security and integration with current environments. Deployments included Data Loss Prevention, Legal Hold management through migrations, data retention configurations, and more. • Develop solution offering for Valorem to deploy Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security solutions and work on discovery projects for pre-sales of solution • Deployment of various authentication integrations with SaaS services including Microsoft ADFS and Okta.
• Ensure Support team readiness for Office 365 production roll out • Identify and ensure readiness of key indicators of Office 365 health, performance, and availability • Assist in hand off from Launch and Acceptance teams to production support teams • Senior support for Office products including Office Pro Plus, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online
