● Supervised the daily routine of the Network Operation center, a team of 15 people that monitors the network around the clock, handles basic troubleshooting and escalates trouble tickets to technical support ● Supervised the daily routine of the BSC/RNC unit, a team of 4 people that implements changes on 8 Base Stations controlling radio coverage in Sierra Leone. ● Monitored the implementation of the Service Level Agreements with multiple vendors/consultants (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, AVIAT, Nexius Consulting, Penta Consulting, TEOCO etc.) ● Responsible for coordinating between different teams when changes need to be done on the live network. ● Trouble tickets follow-up with different vendors (NSN, Huawei and Ericsson) ● Responsible for generation of the main network KPIs and reporting them to management and head office. ● Lead the BSC and NOC units through a two years equipment swap project from SIEMENS to Huawei. ● Deployed data services in Sierra Leone. ● Added a new SIEMENS BSC to the network, as an emergency capacity increase plan (Testing, purchase, integration and acceptance with no support available). ● Designed and implemented the Ethernet Backbone configuration for all IP links in coordination with Africell’s Transmission teams, Huawei Support and AVIAT support. ● Designed and implemented multiple applications that automate the escalation and reporting in the Network Operation Center.
● Managed and supervised of IP networks infrastructure spread over two campuses. ● Managed the time of part-time financial aid students employed in the department. ● Responded to trouble tickets opened by users across the university campuses. ● Deployed networking equipment in coordination with construction teams for three new building established by the university.
