Singapore
Currently wearing the hat of a lead engineer in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) playing a critical role in enhancing the operational readiness and lifecycle performance of mission-critical radar systems onboard naval platforms. My core responsibilities spanned the full spectrum of engineering support—from system reliability and maintainability assessments to stakeholder coordination and forward strategic maintenance planning.
• Spearheaded in-depth Reliability, Availability, Maintainability analysis to proactively identify failure trends and optimize lifecycle support strategies. • Utilized data-driven methodologies and predictive analytics to enhance asset reliability and reduce downtime across radar systems. • Led the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of radar maintenance regimes • Collaborated with cross-functional teams—including OEMs, logistics units, and operational commands to streamline radar system sustainment and introduce capability enhancements/modifications • Solved numerous complex technical challenges and delivered robust engineering solutions under tight operational timelines
• Assisted in planning, coordination and setup of new projects. • Performed facility layout, processing time and cost performance analysis studies. • Reduced overall error for SmartBin/BIM related projects from 3% to <1%. • Maintained accurate and timely documentations/records for traceability purposes
• Planned and conducted Battalion and Company Events • Overall in charge for flight-related admin matters for the unit (Overseas Training)
• Performed product quality testing and verified test data • Provided timely and accurate reports for company quality checks • Contributed in giving inputs for further development of tested products
