CTBC Bank USA is 100% owned subsidiary of CTBC Bank, Taiwan's largest (non-gov) and most international commercial bank with over $100B assets and 100 oversea sites (from East Asia, Southeastern Asia to India and North America). I develop and lead Technology & Venture lending business in the US and provide value added services to my corporate clients to meet their both domestic and across the pacific business objectives.
Information Technology, Medtech R&D Collaboration, Licensing, Acquisition, and Investments
●Executed investments end- to- end. Performed due diligence (management interview, channel check and so on), researched company fundamentals including analysis of management team, execution strategy, competitive position in industry value chain and market outlook. Conducted valuation modeling with financial and comparable analysis and made investment recommendations. ●Served on the Board in investee companies and provided operational and strategic assistance to portfolio companies by facilitating them across the Pacific for business opportunities and OEM/ODM partnership through network. ●Regularly travelled and conducted company and management visits in Asia to gain first hand market intelligence in regard of competition, political and industry trend. ●Conducted post investment management related to follow on investment, strategic partnership, fundraising, bridge loan, re-capitalization, reverse-merger, dissolution, secondary fund or trade sale, M&A, IPO, divestment process. ●Managed portfolio in regard to portfolio monitor and performance review, auditing and risk management, plan and execute exit strategy, maintain investor relationship to meet overall investment objective.
●Provided consulting services to the US federal agency ●Led business development in RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) program in forming partnership and alliance, conducting negotiations. Achievement of winning US government contracts.
