Pointserve (09/2009 - 08/2010) Integration specialist creating data flow solutions between I-series and Pointserve's Routing and Scheduling system. Servicemaster/Terminix (11/2006 – 09/2009) Maintains routing and scheduling system interfaces between custom AS/400 system and Pointserve system. System interfaces and custom system written in LANSA A/D. System supports 8000 users spread over 400 locations with 3000 power users. System is written in LANSA and runs on an I-Series with 24 processors, 512G main memory, and 25TB of disk. This is a large transactional system with some files having close to a billion records. This is a telecommuting contract. Granite Construction (01/2008 – 08/2010) Provides part time on call support on a conversion to JDE Oneworld. Responsible for maintenance and enhancements to Lansa functions used for customized reporting. This is a telecommuting contract. Rhodia Inc. (11/2006 – 07/2008) I monitored and maintained a custom general ledger system written in LANSA A/D. I am also supporting a conversion to SAP for this client. Part time telecommuting contract.
Managed a team of 7 developers supporting service systems for Terminix. System supports 8000 users spread over 400 locations with 3000 power users. System is written in LANSA and runs on an I-Series with 24 processors, 512G main memory, and 25TB of disk. This is a large transactional system with some files having close to a billion records. Manages a Business Analyst who manages 3 quality assurance analysts who are responsible for approving all changes made to the system. Manages a third party firm responsible for programming the handheld scanning / communications equipment used by 7000 technicians.
At Rhodia Inc. was the technical lead responsible for user support and program maintenance for a custom General Ledger and Financial Reporting system for a major chemical company in New Jersey. System runs on an AS/400 and is comprised of 25% RPG and CLP code and 75% LANSA code. Along with programming responsibilities, I managed 1 additional programmer and supported a user base of over 250 in multiple locations. This was a telecommuting contract, thus saving the client over $300k in travel expenses while still maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Designed the interfaces between a custom general ledger system and the JDE Accounts Payable system, the JDE Payroll system, and Prism’s COM inventory and product costing system. Managed changes to an Executive Information System running on a HP-Unix server using visual basic and an oracle database that was fed by the custom general ledger system.
Part of team that successfully installed and customized a multi-lingual version of the ACBS Loan Monitoring system for the Business Development Bank of Canada; System was written in LANSA and RPG. Designed and programmed a new report distribution system to interface with IBM's Client Access product, enabling reports to be run once and electronically sent to recipients instead of manually sorted and mailed, achieving rapid transfer of time-sensitive data.
