I'm a multi-disciplinary consultant. That's not a tagline. It's the structure of the role. In a given week at Maximus, I might run a capture review at 9am, sit as book boss on a proposal at 1pm, take a teaming call with a sub at 4pm, and own the USCIS pipeline running underneath all of it. Throw in hiring panels, program transitions, sales lifecycle work, and PI planning across the ART. Senior Manager is the title. The job is wider than that. It's wider on purpose. I optimize for it. When I joined federal consulting, I figured out fast that the people who own one thing are interchangeable. The ones who can pivot, who can sit across strategy and execution in the same day and contribute meaningfully to both, are the ones who actually shape what the portfolio looks like. The ones nobody can easily replace. So I made that the goal. Whatever skill the work needed, I picked it up. Program management. Pipeline strategy. Sales lifecycle. Hiring. Transition. Proposal leadership end to end. SAFe certifications across the framework, six deep. Not because I'm chasing a title or padding a resume, but because the work in front of me kept asking me to do something I didn't know how to do yet, and I refused to let that be the reason it didn't get done. The result is a role that doesn't really fit a job description. I'm a consultant in the truest sense of the word. Engaged where the problem is, accountable for the outcome, valuable not because of any single skill but because of the combination. That's what I want to keep doing. Not the title. The work. If you're building teams where range matters more than tenure, or where the hardest problems live at the seam between strategy and execution, I want to hear from you.
