A&E BUSINESS UNIT • In charge of business operations for Engineering (Process, I&C, Piping/Plumbing, HVAC/FP, Civil, Structural, Electrical), Architectural, EHS and Project Management Teams • Provide leadership for the design staff. • Develop project approach to match the delivery method for projects while maintaining quality and integrity of design deliverables. • Assist in the development of annual business planning efforts to meet strategic vision and goals. • Recruit and attract top industry talent. • Develop and coach employees to meet their career aspirations and goals aligned with business operations. • Promote a strong quality culture. • Development and growth of Business Unit. • Support development and reach of KPIs. • Serve as client point of contact for new and existing clients by participating in business development and networking activities. Reinforce client relationships. • Develop win and project delivery strategies and ensure an integrated approach is consistently applied to projects. • Function as a key member of the Office Leadership Team. • Work closely with design counterparts to achieve productive working relationships. • Support PM's to adequately staff projects • Make sure projects are completed within budget, schedule and quality objectives. • Support project managers to prepare proposals and labor fee estimates. OFFICE ADMINISTRATION • Plan, guide, and oversee HR operations • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and methods to enhance the ability to attract and retain qualified employees. • Serve as a link between management and employees. • Advise President, Directors and Managers on organizational policy matters. • Assist with managing business group performance management process ensuring all leaders, managers and employees are informed, trained, and coached. • Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement.
