The Deputy Project Manager / Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager is responsible for the operational maintenance, repair, and construction work to include quality, safety, schedule compliance, and customer relations for the Fort Leonard Wood Facilities and Maintenance Support Services contract. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ● Superior performance as Interim Project Manager managing the daily operations of a $20M Base Operations Support project for a major military installation for a period of 30+ days. ● Leaned heavily upon to train, develop and mentor incoming Project Manager while working closely with Corporate offices to ensure seamless transition. ● Mentors and guides 7 supervisors and a crew of 154 personnel of various skillsets to include a locksmith, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, fire alarm technicians, HVAC & controls technicians, vehicle mechanics, equipment operators, maintenance mechanics and general maintenance workers. ● Works closely with company Human Resources Representative, Site Safety Officer and Accounting Supervisor ensuring all decisions and actions are aligned with all Corporate policies and procedures. ● Serves as liaison between company and DPW CORs attempting to resolve all minor contractual issues at lowest possible level providing the best possible service to the customer. ● Approving authority for all purchases under $50,000 with responsibility of reviewing all invoicing actions for compliance, necessity, and accuracy. - Responsible for planning, scheduling, implementing and supervising all maintenance activities performed in support of contract - Ensures safety and quality policies are implemented and maintained minimizing lost time accidents and injuries on site
