Developing a Two-Bin Kanban system for nursing unit stockrooms. Outlining process for implementing system hospital wide. Currently implementing system in 7 unique units, including the Emergency Department. Work includes proprietary data system and comprehensive analysis, complete floor plans, cart layouts, ordering of supplies, construction oversight, building and implementing, and post-installation maintenance and reporting.
Current projects include adapting a double bin restocking system within the Medical Imaging modalities and investigating the patient experience across the entire OR cycle. The OR project includes process mapping from original surgeon office visit through completion of surgery and departure of patient; revisions to forms and data capture; restructuring of work flow performed by St. Clair employees; and recommendations and implementations throughout.

Determined areas for improvement during remodel of department. Helped create cart system for stock located in patient rooms and trauma bays. Created 6 unique carts including Standard Room, Trauma, Airway, Suture, Ortho, D-Storage. Advised on stocking procedures for these carts. Consulted on creation of 6 remaining specialty carts.
