Developing technology to help governments improve the citizen user experience
• Led the development of our climate-tech geospatial analytics platform built on Google Cloud including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and Dataflow (Apache Beam). • Hired and managed our technology team of seven developers across the UI, backend, and data platform. • Developed a JAX-based global optimizer for user-provided Excel models, a hybrid of PSO with Adam, that gave us results over 1000x faster than PSO. This system optimizes our H₂ model in under 2 mins (on an L4 GPU with Google Cloud Batch) where users were accustomed to energy system optimization run-times over 8 hours. • Built an AI pipeline for training and executing a NN-based surrogate optimizer in Pytorch. Generates the 7.56B results for our global H₂ model in under 8000 CPU hours (on Google Dataflow) with under 4% mean error.

• Directed technology strategy post-acquisition of FreshWorks Studio, leading over 50 developers. • Led critical health-sector projects, and helped secure new contracts with the BC Provincial Health Services Authority, Alberta Health Services, and the Nova Scotia Ministry of Health.
