William R. Schuck, Senior Logistics Analyst Avion Solutions Inc. Nov 2010-Present: I am providing logistical support for the US Army Armed Scout Helicopter (ASH) Program. Due to my extensive experience in and around the program since 1985, I am utilized in a wide variety of aspects to include sustainment support, installation, training and sustainment support of all the modifications done to the aircraft during its life cycle. I have installed software and upgrades to both the aircraft and the related support systems. I assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of aircraft maintenance challenges. My abilities in technical writing have required me to assist in development of the Technical Manual updates as well as the creation of instructions for Modification Work Order instructions and the development of training materials to support those operations. Although my expertise is primarily Avionics and Electrical, I am well rounded in airframe, powertrain and armament systems as well. Jun 2006-May 2008: I worked in the US Army RESET office as the liaison between reset and the OH-58D Armed Scout Helicopter Office. I developed the first WBS for reset in support of the ASH Program using Lean and Sigma Six methodology. I was able to greatly reduce redundant work efforts and arrange tasks to minimize time required to perform both reset and MWO installations. I monitored product deliveries and fluctuations in performance through the ASH reset efforts and facilitated the coordination of cost reduction initiatives/programs such as Value Engineering and Operation Support Cost Reduction. . Nov 1994-Dec 2004: I was a Field Service Representative for Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. Oct 1991: I retired as an Avionics Technician/Supervisor NCO out of AVSCOM in St. Louis, MO.
