Construction Supervisor/Manager Power Generation General Functions The Construction Supervisor acts on behalf of the client and is responsible for planning and execution of work at the construction site. This includes managing all site activities, conducting site meetings and regular reporting to the Project Manager. Job Tasks and Responsibilities • Responsible for planning site mobilization • Responsible for planning construction execution • Directs, manages, and coordinates all activities on site • Conducts regular site meetings • Supervises contractors on site. • Coordinates with Materials Planner to arrange for materials to be provided to a contractor by the client. • Monitors, evaluates, and reports progress against construction schedule • Ensures quality of the work and deficiency identification and correction • Works with site leads to identify required materials and equipment, coordinating with material planner and workgroup supervisors • Ensures safety and security of site • Regular progress reporting to Project Manager • Identifies change requests. If no impact to scope, cost, or schedule, deals with change. Otherwise change requests escalated to Project Manager. • Responsible for enforcing Field Change Authorization process with on-site contractors • Responsible for communicating with landowners and stakeholders where required • Ensures that any environmental and quality control protection requirements on site are carried out • Assists Project Manager with project closeout activities
