Currently working as a Senior Project Coordinator looking to develop and learn new skills. I believe I am a hard working, self -motivated individual who enjoys the challenges in real life working situations, can work well under pressure as well by being able to prioritize tasks efficiently and is always well committed to and ambitious to the task in hand. I can work well in a group as well as being able to work efficiently during individual tasks. • Perform generic, routine study duties and tasks that are applicable across designated projects and Protocol phases, including but not limited to: receipt of site lists, entering site data into the database, ordering laboratory kits, and monitoring the day to day running of designated projects (i.e. patient specimen management receipt, pending lab analysis, and test result approvals and reports). • Ensure outputs are delivered in line with organizational standards and client expectations. • Maintain project documentation files that provide project status and escalation. • Work through Protocol questions, issues, escalations and changes with relevant senior coordinators, and Project Managers. • Provide regular Project Status reports to the Project manager, CRA, Sponsor and/or the company as applicable. • Liaise with other departments and support services (e.g. Laboratory) in order to expedite testing of patient’s laboratory specimens. • Keep Project Managers and other relevant staff informed of any issues that may affect the smooth running of the project. • Develop solutions for routine project related issues and problems, within a limited scope. • Assist with the organization and tracking of storage specimens: receipt, retrieval and shipping as applicable. • Oversee and/monitor demographic queries, pending results, testing TAT’s
• Manage individual clinical trial projects as assigned. • Facilitate Seamless Study Set-Up • Participate in proposal and the business development processes as applicable to Project Services responsibilities. • Ensure key milestones are met and appropriate resources are available. • Oversee the writing of protocol-specific laboratory instructional materials (e.g. manuals, flowcharts, etc.) and participate in the preparation and maintenance of the laboratory specification documents. • Monitor Project Management Plan, timelines, and deliverables, including trend analysis of study specific data. • Manage study scope changes and study budget. • Monitor quality of study and proactively determine and implement solutions for any issues that arise. • Report study progress to internal and external clients. • Build and own client relationship for assigned study and serve as a liaison between Sponsors and project teams by acting as the single point of contact for the client by responding and triaging communications. • Lead problem solving and resolution efforts in a timely, client-focused manner. • Coordinate meeting agenda, document minutes, track actions, and provide status updates on various Projects. • Represent the company at Investigator/ Monitor meetings, internal and external authorities of regulatory bodies, and other Face to face or virtual meetings. • Administer study training to sites, CRA and sponsors and establish regular lines of communication with sites to manage on-going project expectations and issues. • Direct, mentor and assist in training of less experienced Project Services staff.
• Experienced in working in handling and processing different types of human samples such as, urine, breath alcohol, blood and other specimens in a separating laboratory using equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges and balances • Prepared various solutions for different studies • Prepare and pack samples and specimens to the sponsors' and reference laboratories • Complete CRFs, laboratory records and capture other data as required • Order and liaise with couriers to arrange transportation of samples • Collate CRFs, laboratory and other results and perform quality control checks to ensure they are complete and ready for review and approval by Research Physicians • Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales • Preparing study and laboratory documentation (forms, logs, SOPs etc) as required • Supervising urine collections, measure/ weigh urine collection volumes/weights • Assist with daily monitoring of fridge and freezer temperatures • Calibration and maintenance of equipment • Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modelling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner • Participate in formal staff review • Book weekly couriers to pick up samples at different times on different days • Delegate specific roles to colleagues when on shift lead • Responsible for the handling of laboratory specimens for specific studies and ensuring that all team members understands the processing instructions of samples as Laboratory study lead • Train new starters, students and clinical staff on how to perform certain laboratory procedures • Perform analytical procedures such as ELISA and cell counting
