o Project Lead on a large scale, multidisciplinary capital project on the Raheen campus, overseeing delivery across multiple workstreams within a regulated Pharmaceutical environment. o Lead and facilitate regular senior stakeholder meetings, providing structured status updates on schedule, cost, risk, and key decisions to ensure continued alignment with site and business objectives. o Own vendor and contractor management across the project lifecycle, including procurement support, contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and resolution of commercial and delivery issues. o Ensure all project activities are executed in full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, completing risk assessments and driving corrective actions to maintain safe execution on site. o Drive issue resolution and change management, evaluating cost and schedule impacts and implementing mitigation strategies to protect critical milestones and budget.
o Led a large, multidisciplinary team through the design, installation, and qualification of contact lens production lines with a total CAPEX value of €90M, delivering within a regulated Medical Device manufacturing environment. o Engaged with global external vendors and key internal stakeholders, providing structured project updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring continued alignment with strategic and business objectives. o Directed projects through all critical lifecycle phases, including design, installation, IQ/OQ/PQ qualification, process characterisation, worst case scenario assessments, and clinical trials, while maintaining strict control of schedule, budget, and resource allocation. o Travelled internationally to customer and vendor sites to support design reviews and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), successfully implementing a leveraged FAT/SAT strategy
o Establishing and delivering projects for multi-national pharmaceutical and biotech customers across the EMEA region. Including time, cost, and quality objectives while balancing project resources and risks. o Leading the European NPI team for all new machine providers in a design and management role o Manage the installation and qualification of multiple projects at customer sites worldwide, including URS, FAT, SAT, and IOQ.
o Engage with external vendors to select, manufacture, and assemble components. o Consult with engineering and management teams to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. o Lead design engineer on multiple projects.
