William Gunawan, S.Psi., M.Min., M.Si., Ph.D., CLC. is an educator, researcher, and practitioner who integrates psychology, theology, and career development through research, teaching, training, consulting, counseling, and coaching. He serves as Dean and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Universitas Kristen Krida Wacana (UKRIDA), and is also a Certified Leadership Coach with Cherish Indonesia. With a Ph.D. in Career Development from Griffith University (Australia) and a Master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of Indonesia, William combines academic depth with practical impact. He is the Founder & Chairman of the Center for Career Development & Assessment (CCDA), where he designs programs that empower students, young leaders, and professionals to navigate the future of work. Formerly the Indonesia Country Director of the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA), he has actively fostered dialogue and collaboration across cultures and generations in the region. William is often described as a “Sherpa of Life”—walking alongside others and igniting inspiration for their journey across generations.
