I have been in the education field going on 11 years. I spent 13 years counseling and mentoring young adults and adolescent children. I have always been dedicated to helping others reach their full potential in all areas of their life. I bring great insight and differentiate strategies to anything I do. I recently received my Masters in Addiction Counseling and will be taking the NCE later this year.
Provide Psycho-therapy, Psycho-education, DV Counseling, Family Counseling, and Parenting. I conduct Parental Fitness Assessments, Substance Abuse Assessments, and Trauma Assessments.
Inclusion Paraprofessional Responsibilities: Participate in developing IEP’s for students Co-Teach Psychology, Biology, Economics, US and World History and work one-on-one in the classroom with students Develop behavior plans, goals and objectives for students with behavior and emotional disorders Document data on a day to day basis that’s reflective of each students goals and objectives Mentor, teach social and life skills and provide guidance for students.
Teacher/Math Special Education Responsibilities: Co-teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math Conduct small group and large group instruction Manage caseload and provide supports for special needs student’s Develop IEP’s and goals that promote progress and responsibility Work with the General Ed teacher to ensure that accommodations and modifications are implemented for students with special needs. Provide behavioral management services for students with emotional and behavioral disorders.

Social Service Case Manager/Investigator Responsibilities: Assess the level of risk to children by conducting face to face interviews with alleged child victims and their caretakers. Provide emotional, social and environmental strengthening of families, clients in crisis. Complete new client assessments for the purpose of developing a case plan moving toward self-sufficiency, including assessment of clients need for community based support. Collects evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare necessary reports according to rules and regulations, state and federal laws Work collaboratively with law enforcement to initiate the legal process for guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption and incarceration of child abusers and sexual predators.
