Work one on one with students who have learning disabilities. Create and implement new styles of learning for each individual as it relates to the Individual Education Plan. Assist teachers with lectures and delivering class assignments.
Assess the level of risk to children by conducting face to face interviews with alleged child victims and their caretakers. Build and maintain professional relationships with service providers to ensure that clients get the best service available. Provide emotional, social and environmental strengthening of families, clients in crisis. Complete new client assessments for the purpose of developing a case plan moving toward self-sufficiency, including assessment of clients need for community based support. Collects evidence, interviews witnesses, and prepares necessary reports according to rules and regulations, state and federal laws Initiates the legal process for guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption
Assist in teaching DBT Skills Group to patients and help them understand how to employ skills learned. Implement and maintain adequate standards of institutional care for the children. Coordinate with the Clinical staff in creating efficient treatment plan goals and projects for each child. Teach living and social skills to the children and help them gain understanding of there importance. Assist the Education Director and school staff with behavior management and tutoring in the classroom. Provide Case Management for patients.
Provide Case Management Services, Crisis Intervention, Counseling, and Behavioral Aide Organize, Manage, Observe and Coordinate supervised visitations between siblings and parents. Implement new methods for improving self awareness and life skills. Transport kids to visitations, doctor's appointments, school, and court. Conducted reports on cases to help monitor progression of the clients.
