I was employed by ACE at Edinburgh Airport as an electrical engineer carrying out base maintenance on the ATR 42/72 and Boeing 737-300. My daily duties include carrying out routine maintenance, inspecting the condition of various aircraft components, rectifying any faults found using my experience, embodying modifications to the aircraft's electrical system, recording all work carried out. I was also in charge of the aircraft battery bay where my responsibilities entailed striping and servicing of various types of aircraft battery, inspecting components for serviceability, handling dangerous goods and completing legal paperwork.
Working on the Boeing 737 aircraft carrying out all major servicing from C1 to C6 and embodying all modifications to individual systems ensuring all aircraft work is completed to the highest standard. Ranging from routine inspections to correcting and repairing all emerging work.
