Coordinated daily transport planning across Europe for (bulk) ethanol shipments. Managed carrier relations, order scheduling, document flow, and customer communication. Supported continuous improvements in planning efficiency, cost estimation, and logistics data management to strengthen Nedstar’s supply chain performance.
Responsible for the coordination of the Warehouse team and in charge of implementing operational procedures to ensure proper performance of the various tasks of the warehouse as efficiently as possible. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
Providing logistical advice and support on and off the project site in the correct and timely management of all elements of product storage and the issue of materials to site crew. Responsible for the overall administration of the warehouse.
The Mulokot Foundation is officially acknowledged by the United Nations as an Indigenous Community Based Organization. The goals of the foundation are to bring sustainable development to the Wayana community by capacity building, developing management skills, managing projects in the community, and provide training. I assist in the above-mentioned projects in the protection and preservation of indigenous communities in Suriname.
Field research for my master thesis on Disaster Management in Sint Maarten. In cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic and Telecommunications (Government of Sint Maarten). The aim of this research is to identify the characteristics of disaster management in Sint Maarten. During the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Sint Maarten used its previously drafted disaster plans to mitigate the effects of the pandemic. However, as weather-related natural disasters generally pose a big threat to the island, these plans are predominantly written for hurricanes. The purpose of this research is to study the effects of the measures taken by the Government, based on these existing disaster plans, to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak on the economic sector in Sint Maarten.
From November 2018 until May 2019, I worked at the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic & Telecommunication (TEATT) of the Government of Sint Maarten. As Junior Policy Advisor, I worked in close cooperation with the Secretary General as well as with the Senior Policy Advisors of the policy department of the Ministry; the Department of Economy, Transportation & Telecommunication. I was able to assist, support and contribute in the above-mentioned areas. Furthermore, I was also involved in Emergency Support Function 10 (or ESF-10). This latter areas covers Disaster Management for Tourists, Airport and Harbor. "We enjoyed working with her and she has been an asset within the Ministry.
