Broadcast Technician at WDR, previously Trainee in Media Technology and Engineering. Before that, I gained experience in blogging and social media for the German site of The Best Social and in storytelling, theme park & entertainment concepts at Europa-Park Rust. Graduated with First Class Honours in BA Media Studies from Maynooth University, Ireland.
Worked in different departments to get the best possible overview of broadcast technology and TV/radio production workflows. Network and back-end technology, live studio production, camera work, radio producer and main TV control rooms were jobs I learned for up to three months at a time.
Daily research on social media news and trends. Produced 2-3 blogs per day, including social media posts and interaction. Implemented the active use of Google Search Console & improved SEO.
Editing work for books, audio plays, scripts. Scriptwriting. Conceptualization for books, plays, films, VR games. Translation work English - German. Textproduction for numerous different target audiences (social media, B2B, show audiences, informational flyers & magazines).
Hired as temporary Christmas staff, got offered full contract following. Responsible for stock, orders, layout changes, seasonal/special offers, communication with management. Trained 10 new staff, completed cashier training to cover tills regularly.
