Nothing energizes me more than helping someone achieve their goal, embrace their strengths, or accept themselves. That passion has carried through my entire personal and professional life. Whether I was providing individual counseling, working on system-wide strategy, supporting startups, or now, helping builders feel seen and supported in a fast-moving product space. I care deeply about people getting the chance to live their best life. That's the one that aligns with their strengths, values, and self-defined version of success. My mission has always been to eliminate barriers and create opportunities so people can thrive on their own terms, not just what’s expected or deemed by others as "success." These days, that looks like building community, uplifting creators/builders, and making sure people have the resources and encouragement they need to move forward. Sometimes that means launching a showcase so shipped projects get the spotlight they deserve. Other times it’s hopping into a thread, supporting someone through a blocker, or working behind the scenes to make the whole experience smoother. I didn’t come from a traditional tech background. My path has been unexpected, meaningful, and kind of magical. It’s been rooted in empathy, deep listening, and making people feel heard and supported. My background in counseling psychology shapes how I show up in this space: grounded, human, and guided by values. I’m tenacious, endlessly curious, and most alive when I’m connecting people, ideas, and opportunities that might’ve otherwise gone unnoticed. It's all about unlocking the potential in people and groups and turning their definition of success into something real. At the end of the day, I’m here to help others shine in whatever way matters most to them.

As Guest Faculty at Shady Side Academy, I designed and delivered an immersive, hands-on course introducing students to the mindsets and methods of entrepreneurship. This course emphasized purpose-driven exploration, where students developed and pitched original business concepts through real-world problem discovery, customer insights, and value proposition design. Weekly themes explored entrepreneurial resilience, creative risk-taking, iterative thinking, and leadership. Students engaged directly with practicing entrepreneurs through guest sessions and field trips, gaining practical exposure to the challenges and rewards of building impactful ventures. The curriculum fostered a collaborative, growth-minded learning environment—empowering students to articulate their personal "why," embrace experimentation, and contribute meaningfully to a community of innovation.
As fractional CIO at Straight Up Care, I played a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and innovation. I led recruitment efforts to build a strong team of peer support specialists, helped plan and manage projects, and contributed to successful grant applications. I identified and assessed new markets, developed partnerships, and shaped the company’s expansion strategy. My work contributed to scaling operations and positioning the organization for sustained growth and impact in the digital health space.
I served as a key contributor to The ASAM Criteria, 4th Edition, the nationally recognized guidelines for addiction treatment. As the Lead Editor for the “Assessment, Reassessment, and Measurement-Based Care” section, I helped shape the framework for delivering high-quality, evidence-based addiction care. Additionally, I was a member of the ASAM Criminal Justice Expert Committee, contributing to The ASAM Criteria, Fourth Edition Volume 3: Correctional Settings & Community Reentry, focused on adapting addiction treatment guidelines for justice-involved populations. My work ensures that best practices are applied across diverse care settings, from clinical environments to correctional systems.
