In my position, I am an integral member of the iCons Program leadership team, with administrative responsibility for: - program operations and expansion - course scheduling - recruiting and admission - budget and business management - interfacing with on- and off-campus partners - managing program assessment I support iCons students as: - an academic advisor - an advocate and ally - a campus liaison I support iCons faculty in providing resources for educational excellence. I support iCons leadership by participating in planning and execution of activities to meet the iCons mission and goals. Additionally, I plan and execute communication initiatives that highlight iCons student and instructor success and that promote iCons visibility and reputation.
My primary duties include: - Course scheduling: schedule classes, meetings, and rooms; evaluating scheduling to determine effectiveness - Monitor and analyze student enrollment data for undergraduate and graduate residential and online programs - Oversee student recruitment, marketing, and communication for Sociology degree programs and online courses to support growth and retention - Manage alumni outreach and implementation of student/alumni programs - Maintain and manage departmental website, social media accounts, list-serves, and conference rooms - Assist with curriculum creation and revision
Anna Maria College is a four-year, private, co-ed, Catholic, liberal arts college founded by the Sisters of Saint Anne in 1946, AMC is located on a 192-acre campus in Paxton, MA, minutes from the vibrant college-town of Worcester, MA. • Planned and implemented alumni programs and events that support the College's strategic plan in collaboration with colleagues in Institutional Advancement, the Admission Office, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Athletics • Developed and administered annual fund goals and strategy and work toward increasing alumni annual support; identified, qualified, and solicited annual gifts from prospect portfolio of 300+ alumni • Ensured accurate and complete alumni database records: captured contact, biographical, and career information of alumni via correspondence, website, postal returns, and social media • Established and built relationships with a diverse population of alumni, regionally, nationally, and internationally; maintained regular communication with alumni via direct contact, email, alumni web pages, and print publications • Wrote, edited, and distributed alumni e-newsletter and wrote alumni profiles for publications and social media • Managed Anna Maria Fund phone program and 14-20 paid student callers. Increased phone program pledge and gift rates and average gift each fiscal year by various means: targeted caller hiring, better caller training, restructuring caller incentive program, better communication with completed-call donors, and better donor list segmentation • Led the AMC Alumni Association Board of Directors: arranged meetings, staffed committees, and ensured strong and productive relationships between its members and the academic and administrative leadership; served as ex-officio Executive Director of the Alumni Association • Managed daily activities of Alumni Relations Office: general correspondence and transcript and alumni list requests
My main duties were: 1. Student philanthropy - engage and educate the current student population on the importance of philanthropy to the vitality of UMass Amherst. 2. E-philanthropy and Social Media - maximize the use of e-mail campaigns and social media to help connect the UMass Amherst community to the spirit of UMass Amherst and to highlight the great things that are being accomplished due to private support from alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends and corporations & foundations.
