Me in front of groups. With use of the Wim Hof Method & Mindbootcamp, I talk about & train people to use some of the basic functions of their bodies & minds to get more in control in everyday life. By organizing events, I connect people with similar interests, to boost this movement - and have a little fun on the side. With 5 other people, we form a foundation that is mainly occupied with organizing events in and around Heemskerk. This year, we have organized, among other things, the sixth annual Erik-festival, in memory of our late friend, who died from cancer. This festival is taking place every year around his birthday, and is a fundraising event for other foundations that hold a connection to him and/or his disease. Through this way, we remember our friend, manage to raise money for important goals and learn how to organize events. We have been able to donate around € 65,000 over 7 different foundations.
Emesa is the company behind auction sites VakantieVeilingen, Vavabid and deals-site ActieVanDeDag. Together with a small team, I am responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the QlikView and nPrinting environment. By doing so, the vast user base throughout all parts of Emesa is being enabled to do their jobs as well as possible.
International Bike Group is the owner of Fietsenwinkel.nl, the largest (online/offline) retailer in bikes, expanding internationally. At International Bike Group, I'm part of the Business Intelligence team. Together, we work to address the big and growing demand for information in this strongly data-driven organization. Also, we work towards providing thorough, broad and steady set of dashboards, to enable the organization to make the right decisions at every moment necessary.
