Having been in the transportation industry for 20 plus years, I have developed a strong knowledge of all aspects of Bridge Engineering. Being the lead Bridge Engineer on several PennDOT, and PTC structures in 2024, I have developed many management skills in addition to bridge design skills. I enjoy working with experienced engineers and also advising young engineers to complete all types of projects. And I look forward to being part of many more successful, challenging bridge design/construction/inspection projects in the years to come.
I have performed the design and inspection of bridge structures including single to multi-span projects involving P/S concrete beams, steel girder, culvert, suspension, and railroad structures. I have performed abutment, wingwall, and pier designs which include spread footings bearing on rock and soil. I have been responsible for the analysis and design of highway bridges, retaining walls, and bridge/roadway related geotechnical activities. Additional responsibilities include preparation of design calculations, geometric layouts, and PS&E submissions. I have completed numerous NBIS inspections and drafted the subsequent inspection reports. Very experienced in the use of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Structural Design / Analysis software, RISA-3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, as well as applications of AREMA, AASHTO, and PennDOT DM4 procedures. I have completed projects using LRFD, LFD, and ASD methodology.
