During my secondment in Switzerland I specialised in the preparation of carve out financial statements in accordance with IFRS and audited under PCAOB standards, I gained extensive experience in this complex area. My expertise includes reviewing and practically applying the methodology used in the preparation of carve out financial statements. I was also responsible for coordinating multi-location audits, showcasing my ability to manage and navigate diverse audit environments effectively. Additionally, I have practical experience in project management and coordination of large multinational engagements, further demonstrating my strong organizational and leadership skills.
I successfully managed the audit of a complex forensic investigation while meeting strict JSE reporting deadlines. Additionally, I played a key role in business development efforts, including the preparation of a winning proposal for a listed entity. In my capacity as the SAICA manager and Human Capital manager, I exceeded expectations by managing all facets of human capital within my division. I actively contributed to the rollout and implementation of SAICA's CA 2025 competency framework at PwC South Africa. This experience allowed me to develop exceptional managerial skills and a deep understanding of talent development and retention strategies.
