What I do Over a decade in public affairs, government relations, and strategic communications — currently embedded in the EU's battery and electrification ecosystem. My work spans: - Regulatory navigation: EU Battery Regulation, Net-Zero Industry Act, energy storage policy (Germany, Brussels) - Stakeholder strategy: EU institutions, national ministries, industry associations, media - Executive positioning: translating geopolitical complexity into actionable leadership decisions - Cross-border alignment: bridging corporate HQ logic with European institutional expectations I am fluent in the languages this work actually requires — Chinese, German, and English — and in the institutional logics that rarely appear in policy documents. My edge Most Europe–China public affairs breakdowns are not failures of intent. They are failures of institutional translation: reading the wrong signals, at the wrong speed, through the wrong frame. I specialize in exactly that gap — the trust deficits, communication asymmetries, and regulatory blind spots that derail otherwise sound strategies. Beyond the role I am the author of the VIEF Framework — a strategic model for Chinese companies integrating into European industrial systems, grounded in institutional economics and intercultural management. I am developing this toward academic publication and teaching.
