I am a Senior Product Engineer with experience in product engineering, firmware and system testing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional technical coordination. My background started from Physics and electronics. Over the years, I have built hands-on experience across test development, firmware validation, product quality improvement, and industrial system support. I began my career with exposure to electronics and test development, including internship experience using LabVIEW to improve product functionality. I later worked in firmware test development, where I developed test scripts in Python and TCL to improve Hard Disk Drive quality and functionality. During that time, I also worked in an agile team environment and took on the role of Scrum Master after completing Scaled Agile Scrum Master training, which strengthened my collaboration, communication, and team coordination skills. In my current role as a Senior Product Engineer, I am responsible for overseeing batch controller related products, supporting product quality, coordinating across teams, and contribute into planning, testing, design review, troubleshooting, and technical communication. I am particularly interested in areas related to product engineering, testing, firmware, industrial automation and system integration. I value continuous learning, problem-solving, structured execution and building leadership mindset. I enjoy taking on technical challenges, working closely with different stakeholders and driving improvements that enhance product reliability, quality and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and bring innovative products to market, which meet customer needs and industry standards. Continuously refine and optimize product designs to enhance efficiency, and overall product performance. Conduct product testing for DKI components products and serve as a product specialist. Provide technical support to resolve product-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction within short timeframe. Planning and facilitate efficient product development and future enhancements. Collaborate with the team to ensure successful project delivery and services. Site visit to understand and resolve the issue within limited time. Support product to obtain standard international certification (MID, IECEx, ATEX). Ramping up as a product owner to oversee the product opportunity, functionality in real world market.
Developing script to test out the HDD feature and functionality by Python programming. Debugging test failure found from validation. Joining functional team and initiative to improve work flow process. As the core person to monitor and debug test result for daily Tier 1 validation result. Main member to ensure latest firmware used in Firmware Test trial environment. As a mentor, transferring knowledge to intern within short period. Ramping up intern to build up required technical skills to fulfill the internship project. Currently leading New College Graduate to familiarize with working environment. Encourage mentee to explore and learn along the way. Help to resolve the impediments to ensure smooth onboarding experience for mentee. Continue to work as backup scrum master. Participated in Scaled Agile Scrum Master training. Successfully met the requirements of a Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master. Ramping up to new role as a Scrum Master of the team. With this change, there will be two role on parallel, which is still continue as a developer, with addition as a scrum master. Well collaborated with US, Japan, Bangalore and other sites to deliver product milestones.
As a firmware engineer, started my position as a test developer in HDD Firmware Department. From zero knowledge on TCL programming, until able to develop test script within 1 month time frame. Doing failure analysis on test script bug. Learn Python programming skills and help the team to improve quality. Get opportunity to work as a backup scrum master, hosting scrum event, help to resolve team’s impediments.
Intern here which work around on virtual programming, LabVIEW. Task to simplify current implementation on modifying execution tab to be more user friendly. Organize item using special function in program to reduce effort from manually.
