Wen Sang is the Co-Founder and COO of Genspark.ai, a Palo Alto-based AI company building agents for 1B+ global knowledge workers. Following the launch of its Super Agent suite in April 2025, Genspark grew from 0 to $250M ARR within 12 months. The company raised $60M in Seed, $100M in Series A, and $485M in Series B (backed by Emergence Capital Partners, LG, SBI, UpHonest, Sozo Ventures, and Temasek's Pavilion Capital) over the past 20 months. OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, Microsoft, and many other tech giants all formed strategic partnerships with Genspark since its launch. Over 5000 organizations onboarded onto the Genspark for Business (genspark.ai/business) platform within 5 months since its launch in Nov 2025. Previously, Wen founded and led Smarking, a Y Combinator and Khosla Ventures-backed enterprise SaaS company that was acquired by JustPark in 2022. Wen holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where he also enjoyed sailing and running along the Charles River. Outside work, Wen is an avid swimmer, golfer, and devoted family man.
