Over 1 billion users are messaging with a business each week across WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. - My role is focused on growing the company’s WhatsApp API Business Solution Provider partner channel ecosystem in APAC, which serves mid and large sized clients globally. - I work with leaders and CXOs across Telcos, Commerce and SaaS/cPaaS industries in APAC to enable businesses to engage audiences, accelerate sales and drive better customer support outcomes on the WhatsApp Business Platform. - I have identified, sourced, qualified and onboarded >20 Business Solution Providers in APAC across various workstreams, driving >$10m in incremental Annual Recurring Revenue. - I oversaw strategic WhatsApp and SMS OTP deals with telcos to ensure cost savings for Meta. - Led company priority Ads workstream in H2’22, exceeding target by sourcing and onboarding 6 SMB-focused partners who integrated e2e WhatsApp commerce features and Click-to-WhatsApp Ads, all within a quarter, two times faster than average. - Built the Malaysia partner ecosystem from ground up, expanding from 1 to 10 partners in half a year.
Postpaid Mobile (Roaming) - Lead for Roaming products, in charge of GTM, P&L and budgeting for 2022. - Spearhead efforts to turnaround Roaming business after 2 years of Covid. - Launched VTL Roaming campaigns at end 2021 with promotions, resulting in >50% YoY growth in subscribers. - Lead partnerships with strategic travel partners to drive roaming engagement and take-up. - Led a special, time critical, initiative for Ukraine roaming and SMS waiver campaign to enable families to stay connected with their loved ones in Ukraine when conflict broke out.
Postpaid Mobile (5G and Data) - Launched Singapore’s first 5G standalone network with 5G price plans and drove adoption of Singtel’s 5G subscriber base to >300k within 2 years. Singtel is the current 5G market leader in Singapore. - Developed 5G go-to-market strategy, including product construct, branding, consumer education and device roadmap. - Worked closely with Networks and Finance to write consumer marketing business case and papers for Singtel’s call for proposal submission to IMDA for 5G license. Singtel was successfully awarded one of two 5G licenses in Singapore. - Collaborated with key industry partners such as Apple and Samsung to ensure timely launch of flagship handsets, add-on services and 5G adoption. - Created and launched Productivity add-on for data-free access to Zoom and Microsoft Teams for consumers to work and stay connected with loved ones during Covid-affected times. Scaled growth from physical channels to digital channels, successfully garnering over 1000 sign ups within first 2 months of launch. - Ensure profitability as product owner of Data value-added services, by actively monitoring and managing adoption, churn, usage, targeted campaigns and P&L. - Former product marketing manager of Singtel’s Combo mobile plan with over half a million customers.
New Products Development - Selected for 2 months international assignment to Optus in Sydney. - Involved in key strategic projects including Apple Music x Optus launch in Australia.
Consumer Singapore Group, CEO Office - Managed business stakeholders to provide timely weekly and monthly business reviews with Top Management. - Prepared quarterly business reports for CEO for updates to Board of Directors. - Organised quarterly communications session for CEO to all Consumer SG staffs (>1000). - Organised biannual Middle Management workshops where strategy formulation and leadership training takes place. - Supported the CEO during strategic Annual Operating Planning exercise. - Prepared presentation materials for CEO presentations to business partners and Ministers.
Consumer Operations, Customer Insights & Service Innovation - Led multiple cross-functional initiatives to improve roaming customer experience resulting in 20% reduction in dispute calls. - Migrated a real-time insights tool used by over 600 mobile customer care officers from trial to production in 8 months, enabling custcare officers to better advise customers on data usage. - Halved time required for manual access creation of insights tool by automating process. - Developed a real-time crisis center dashboard with vendor for proactive customer care management.
