Over the span of nearly a decade in systems validation engineering, I have honed a diverse skill set centered around test automation, performance analysis, and ethernet technologies. Driving innovation and excellence in interoperability testing, delivering high-performance silicon solutions. My approach integrates a blend of strategic foresight and meticulous execution, aiming to foster an environment that thrives on precision and adaptability. Managed critical testing procedures such as endurance and stress tests, and conducted immunity testing, which were instrumental in maintaining a remarkable 100% success rate for hand-soldered chip validations. Collaborating closely with firmware engineers, I played a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless release of bug-free firmware, leveraging my expertise in Excel for data analysis and presentation, which consistently supported the team in meeting our stringent quality benchmarks.
• To support & implement PXE Server configuration for the products, update the test program master list and tracking systems. • Oversee and carry out test-related activities for Server & Rack products, including the run-in test process, burn-in, and power tests. Support NPI process. • Liaise with customers, HQ, and factories to implement and maintain the test program, as well as analyze and resolve production failures in collaboration with stakeholders. • Support production on the mass run.
• In-charge of automation test for interoperability (IOP) ethernet performance test and data analysis for performance test with weekly debug test firmware. • Managed endurance test, cable rack stress test, robot plug test, 2.5G/1G EEE test, RFC2544 test via Spirent TestCenter and relays. • Carried out conducted immunity (CI) testing. • Worked with firmware engineers to ensure released firmware are with no bug or errors. • Responsible for system bring-up in post silicon validation phase with test plans, generated via ALM. • Performed chip failure analysis, split lot corner chips. • Tabulated test results via excel and presented them to the management. • 100% success rate via hand-soldered chip on socketed boards. • Supports daily laboratory activities.
• Assist in chip testing. • Supports daily laboratory activities and purchasing. • Supports advanced soldering. Works with reworks system, BGA & QFN. • Provide first-tier support in resolving PC and network issues in the lab, assigned static IPs for lab PCs.
• Provide support for chip testing. • Assist manager in internal and external audit. Achieved ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 standard. • Handling budget for Capex. Monitoring the purchase order and have frequent communication with the external parties to ensure the Capex is aligned with the planned budget. • Inventory management, ensuring all the assets are well tagged and accountable for. • Achieved 100% successful rate for board modification & chip replacement within given time frame. • Promoted to Engineer.
