Hihi! I am currently a Year 3 undergraduate student in National University of Singapore, currently pursuing a Primary Major in Chemistry, alongside a Minor in Botany, as well as a Specialisation in Chemical Research. My main interests have evolved to encompass the broader sensory experiences, which include fragrance chemistry for smelling, and audio mixing for hearing. Having been exposed to research during my polytechnic internship, I have continued on this path of exploration in university through the completion of an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme in Science (UROPS), and I am currently working on my Research Project in Chemistry (FYP). In doing so, I seek to develop my research and lab skills, while also broadening my exposure to academia. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, thinking both technically and creatively about how different instruments sound and blend together. More than that, this has provided me with the opportunity to be a better communicator, being more proactive in helping others, and to strive towards the same goal to serve others. Like many, I am still on a journey of self-discovery. I love to keep learning, and I am more than happy to share about what I have learnt as well. Main responsibilities: - Assist with setup and operations of audio equipment. - Perform research and fact-finding, to prepare information for presentation.
Unit: 18th Mono, 3rd Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment (3 SIR). Vocation: Infantry Trooper. Role: SAW operator in Charlie Company. Rank: Corporal (CPL). Notable highlights: - Participated in trials to operationalise new systems for the Infantry, by adapting to new environments and providing user feedback. - Represented Singapore and 3 SIR in bliaterial exercises: Exercise Semangat Bersatu 2023 (local) and Exercise Safkar Indopura 2022 (overseas). - Helped with the set up, display, and emceed for the Drone Showcase during Army Open House 2022.
Contracted at Robertet Asia Pte Ltd, with the following main responsibilities: - Support QA/QC manager on 2021 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project. - Support QC department on conducting QC analysis. - Support QA/QC manager on QA documentations and audit preparations.
Internship at the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences (ICES), worked on a research project titled "Effect of Polymer Structure on Nanoencapsulation of Actives".
