Hi, I'm Will and a quantity surveying fresh graduate. After 4 years of university time, I'm equipped with the professional technical skill and knowledge as a quantity surveyor. - Assist in the end-to-end coordination of real estate development projects, particularly in logistic and commercial asset categories, from planning to execution. - Liaise with Japanese and local stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and internal departments to ensure project milestones and quality are met. - Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, identify issues, and provide on-site solutions in collaboration with the Quality Management Department. - Prepare and verify project documentation, including contracts, claims, measurement records and technical reports. - Facilitate owner-related matters such as defect management, handover processes, and post-handover communication, ensuring positive relationships with end users. - Support senior managers and Japanese superiors in project reporting, presentation material preparation, and interdepartmental communication. - Continuously improve internal workflows to enhance project efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
Job Scope: 1. Site Coordination - Oversee daily site activities, ensure work is progressing as planned, and solve on-site issues 2. Project Planning & Scheduling - Assist in planning project timeline, setting milestones, and tracking progress 3. Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination - Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and work completion 4. Problem Solving - Identify and resolve technical or operational issuesthat arise during the project 5. Reporting & Documentation - Prepare progress reports, maintain records, and update stakeholders on project status. 6. Site Measurement - Conduct on-site measurements to verify work progress, check actual quantities against project drawings, and ensure accurate billing for subcontractors
This is the first company I worked for after graduation. Winfast Corporation Sdn Bhd is a developer cum contractor firm, most of the project types are terrace/linked housing, commercial shop lots, and others related to government projects. My job scope is to help my senior to handle those works related to the site, for example: 1. Measurement - Get the quantity based on the drawing - Prepare the BQ and report 2. Purchasement - After getting the quantity, I need to contact the supplier to order the material and follow up the delivery to avoid delay. - During this process, I will become the bridge between the site and supplier to transfer the info and detail, this communication is to avoid future problems due to wrong orders. - I also need to negotiate with the site and supplier to get the valuable material and the price. 3. Deal with the site person-in-charge, site worker & sub-con - Cooperate with the site to order and follow up on delivery, need to do the material supply report to record those material that deliver to site - Sometimes may need to supervise the site and manage workers due to the site supervisor was on leave - Deal with the sub-con to discuss the price and contract 4. Office work - Help to calculate the in-house site worker salary - Help to sort out those PO, DO and invoices - Help supplier to follow up payment - Submit documents to government department
I was appointed as director of the student advisor team. Below are my main duties as a student advisor: - provide advice to the B.O.D team based on my experience and perspective view - guide and make sure the B.O.D team manage the drum team according to the team rules & regulation - attend the B.O.D meeting to understand and keep track of the current situation of the team - discussion with the coach about the team management and the future plan - prepare and decide the members of the B.O.D team including the position in the year 2021 - lead and work with the B.O.D team and Training Department to prepare S.O.P in order to avoid the confusion of the duties in the future Extra duties I did - solve some communication issues between the members - provide a consulting service to the members

General Affairs - Help the team booking the practice hall every month - Need to check and store up all the stuff bought by the team - Maintenance and clean the practice hall by scheduling Costume - taking care of all costume own by the drum team - making sure members remember to return their costume after every performance - in charge of printing and collecting team shirts after every order Welfare - providing medical assist when members are injured - coming up with activities to help members release stress - providing beneficial help towards members
