Industrial Relations • Participate in negotiation and signing of Collective Agreement Compensation and Benefits • Purchase and maintenance of insurances – Foreign Worker Medical Insurance (FWMI) and Workplace Injury Compensation Insurance (WICI) • Registration and de-registration of new and resigning employees with clinic panels Recruitment and Selections • Seek for internship opportunities to attract new entrants to the field of construction • Draft and post job description for vacancies to relevant recruitment channels • Filer job applicants as according to the job requirements pre-set • Ask for necessary additional details from job applicants, if required and arrange selected candidates for interview with hiring manager • Process work pass applications, renewals, cancellations and purchases of Security Bond for work permit applications and renewal • Handle new employees’ on-boarding matters such as contract preparation and orientation Training and Development • Ensure that employees undergo required training by authorities and ensure that training meet mandatory requirements under Contractors Registration System (CRS) • Keep track of workers’ eligibility to undergo skills upgrading training through Construction Registration of Tradesmen (CoreTrade) and Multi-Skilling Scheme • Co-ordinate with external training institution(s) for employees’ trainings and courses • Maintain training records and matrix Other duties • Act as Corppass administrator, eBACS administrator and Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) Officer • Oversee Contractors Registration Systems (CRS) & Builder License (BL) • Upkeep of Human Resource Information System, policies and procedures • Forecast workforce movement and quota • Application of Man-Year Entitlement (MYE) for Prior Approval (PA) to be issued • To assist and participate in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Green and Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS) audit • Provide advices to the site management when needed
• Translate raw datas into measurable, reportable, presentable reports/summary & informed decisions • Provide support to the HRD on administration for full spectrum of Compensation and Benefit (C&B) schemes (including payroll audits, insurance, career progression, salary review, staff welfare and etc.) for the employees. • Spearhead and support various HR projects & initiatives. • Compiling manpower reports, conduct employee surveys and etc.
Recruitment • Drafting job description for approval by the hiring Manager for job postings • Seeking for clarification from selected candidates if neccessary and coordinate for interview • Handle work passes' application, renewal and cancellation including purchases of Security Bond (for work permit) • Handle new employees’ on-boarding matters such as contract preparation and induction Training and Development • Ensuring that employees undergo training required by authorities • Coordinate with external training institution(s) for employees’ training and course, and ensure that training meet mandatory requirements (if any) Employees’ welfare • Selecting and coordinating informative lunch talks for employees Compensation and Benefits • Registration and de-registration of new and resigning employees with clinic panels • Covered payroll duties such as checking attendance and leave management (EasyTime software) during colleague’s maternity period Other duties • Acting as Personal Data Protection Officer • Process of HR functions, HR database, Correspondence, Applications, Compensation & Benefits, Industrial Relations & Engagement, Employee Welfare, Appraisal Management • Upkeeping of HR database, policies and procedures • Forecasting of quota • Submitting details for reimbursement of Government-Paid Leaves • Submitting details for foreign worker levy wavier • Application of Man-Year Entitlement (MYE) for Prior Approval
