• Led the strategic development of Shopee's core HR systems, namely HR Information System (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Performance Appraisal System (PAS). All 3 systems are products that are developed in-house to manage employees’ personal information, candidate’s application information, and employees’ performance data respectively. • Understood pain points from HR end-users (Recruitment, HR Operations, Organisational Development etc.) across different countries to gather business use cases and system requirements to share back with Product Managers (PM). • Translated their business requirements into technical specifications, assessed feasibility of proposed technical features with cross-functional teams (design, development), and prioritized feature development and deployment based on strategic goals. • Ensured successful product launches by conducting thorough user acceptance testing, creating comprehensive user guides, and delivering effective training programs to maximize adoption • Led the end-to-end development of ATS, from conceptualization to global deployment across the 12 markets in Asia, Europe and LATAM within a two-year timeline. Maintained and released new features for HRIS and PAS across the same 12 markets.
• Leveraged Python programming to automate routine recruitment data reporting processes, streamlining operations and enhancing data accessibility for local teams • Developed and implemented data-driven reporting solutions to monitor critical recruitment metrics, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making
• Managed a high-volume internship program, overseeing the entire recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. Successfully placed and engaged over 100 interns annually • Cultivated strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hiring departments, university career offices, and student clubs, to ensure a seamless internship experience • Efficiently managed payroll processing for a large cohort of 100+ interns, ensuring accurate and timely payments in compliance with labour regulations
