MultiChoice Africa, part of the MultiChoice Group, operates in 49 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and generates annual revenue in excess of $1bn. Reporting to the Group CFO, responsible for providing commercial and financial support to Group Exco, including leading the end-to-end process of shareholding transactions and structural enhancements, negotiating multi-country commercials with external parties and performing high level strategic analysis & scenario planning. As part of this role, I led numerous M&A transactions across Africa, and formed part of a hand-picked team responsible for the $3bn JSE listing of the MultiChoice Group and the acquisition of a significant stake in a betting start-up at a >$500m valuation.
