Backed with extensive professional experience, I provide technical direction in all areas of financial accounting, analysis, management, and control. As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Rifco National Auto Finance, I handle the finance, accounting, loan administration, investor relations, public company filings and disclosures for our TSX Venture listed company, which has $250 million in assets and 110 employees. Efficiency, strategy and measurable results lead my day-to-day actions. I’ve shrunk teams, to have them only perform better than ever before. I develop the annual capital and operating budgets, manage all funding and banking relationships, and champion our investor relation efforts. My financial focus began in 2003, when I completed a Master of Accounting from the third-best Graduate and Undergraduate Accounting Program in the USA and become a chartered accountant and certified public accountant. Three years later, I was monitoring all accounting activities for a company with $10 billion in assets and three subsidiaries. In a previous vice president position, I was responsible for the finance, treasury, accounting, regulatory reporting, and risk management functions, growing the credit union from $450 million to $750 million in assets, and 130 employees.
