After 14 years of helping shape the commercial success of one of South Africa’s media giants, I decided it was time to move the goalposts. In April 2026, I officially traded the corporate boardroom and start Tongue in Cheek (TIC) Media. Why the move? Because the media landscape is changing, and I believe sales strategy should be as agile as the content it supports. At TIC Media, we don’t just sell inventory; we build high-level sales acquisitions and strategic partnerships that actually move the needle for our clients. I’m taking everything I learned during my tenure at eMedia Sales—the grit, the relationships, and the deep understanding of the SA audience—and applying it to a leaner, meaner, and more creative agency model.
